Thomas Gregory, Jr.

Additional Curator's Notes:

Thomas Gregory, Jr. was born in 1640 at Flowerdew Hundred, Prince George Co., Virginia. He was the son of Thomas Gregory, Sr. and June Aldredge. His father died when he was about 15. Thomas, Jr. died 3/3/1720 in Weyanoke, Virginia.

Many sites will say that Jane Mosby was the mother of Thomas Jr. Those same sites leave off the first wife and first son. Other sites will say there were no children from the marriage of Thomas Sr. and Jane Mosby. From the start, I have felt that Jane was not the mother. Thomas Jr. was born too many years before his father married Jane. I was resigned to having "unknown 1st partner" for the mother. Then I stumbled upon the Gregory DNA project and some of my questions were answered.More research is still needed, of course, to lock down the details.
