Thomas Alvin Hadley

Son of John Etherington and Amy Alvord Hadley. Husband of Stella Mary Barnes Hadley; married 21 August 1941 in Salt Lake City. Father of Ilene Laymon, Karen Aldridge, Marsha Breckenridge, Mavis Bassett and Debra Hawkins. Brother of Allene Davies, Elda Hilton, Florence Havlicak, Doris Reimann, Leroy Hadley, Harold Hadley and Carl Hadley.

He was born into a ranching family known for raising Hadley Herefords from 1922 to 1978. A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, he always made himself available for home teaching in the communities around Sweet; he helped to start the branch in Sweet and he served as Branch President from 1959 to 1972.
