About Thomas Jamison

Thomas was born last year of Revolutionary War, and for next 49 years began a perilous trek which ended in Missouri when it was still a territory. He came to Crawford County via Washington County, arriving at Cherry Valley in 1832, being the first settler. This family of 11 children grew up and settled in various parts of the county.
