Margaret Ryan was from Abbyleix, Queens County, her parents Samuel and Elizabeth both being dead. The immigration reads that Margaret Ryan came from home with Thomas. Her occupation is given as Dairy Maid and Cook, she was 27 and could read. ||On arriving in Australia Thomas worked at "Dabee" Rylstone where his three eldest sons were born. In 1849 he took up land on the Goulburn River at "Crowie" where 5 more children were born prior to the death of his first wife Anastasia. ||Note -"Dabee" is on the south side of the Cudgegong River, Rylstone. - Aug 25 1842 - Sydney, NSW, Australia
