Thomas survived her and died some years later intestate. No record of any administration of his estate has been discovered and only child of record is found in a deed dated 4 June 1746 from John Norris to William Bennet, "17 May 1746 land, 230 acres, laid out for Thomas Norris of Baltimore Thomas Norris died leaving only son and heir John Norris, etc."."

Was the first of the name of Norris to settle in Baltimore co. the 'List of early Settlers' at Annapolis records the arrival of two Norris settlers of the name Thomas 3 Mar. 1665 "Thomas Norrish" & others assign their rights of land due them by their transportation....unto John Morgan of Talbot co. while on 3 Mar 1674 Joesph Tilley proves his rights for transporting Thomas Norris & others into the colony.  Very little is known of this Thomas...The records of St. Georges Parish Baltimore co. state that Elizabeth Norris wife of Thomas Norris died Dec. 1710...The following land patent may be found at Annapolis: "Thomas Norris of Baltimore Co. 'Envell Cese' Parent...has due 230 a warrant for 200 acres granted May 10, also by assignment of 30 acres from Thomas Hooker out of a warrant for 398 acres granted to sd. Hooker 19 Feb. 1695...We...grant unto...Thomas Norris tract called 'Envell Chese'...according to certificate of Survey taken returned May 20, 1696." Thomas Norris died with out leaving a will & there are no records of children at St. Georges of St. Johns.  The relationship of his son is established by a deed dated 4 Jun. 1746 when John Norris conveys land to William Bennett 17 May 1696 land (230 acres) laid out for Thos. Norris of Baltimore co...Thos. Norris died leaving only son & heir John Norris etc."
