Thomas Pendleton

"In all likelihood his people had been established in Manchester for several generations. Various references to his son, Rev. Dr. Edward Pendleton...speak of him as belonging to

an old and wealthy family,' an ancient Manchester family,' and as a member of an ancient

and wealthy local family.'" Says he was born about 1545, but later says the will of his son Thomas was dated 9 April 1534.

Alternate birth year: 1500, 1521

Alternate death year: 1534, 1557

Ancestry.com's One World Tree lists Thomas Pendleton's date of death as Apri 1534. However, his son Rev. Edward Pendleton was born in 1547. Therefore, one of those two dates is wrong. I would guess that the son was born earlier (and thus had a longer life span,) given the extent of his accomplishments.
