Thomas Rees IV is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A094969.

Thomas was the son of Thomas and Hannah Rees Rees. The burial locations of those parents are not yet confirmed. Presumably, they were buried somewhere in the West Bethlehem Twp., Washington County, PA, area, but they also had lived in Fairfield County, Ohio. One Fairfield source, however, reports the elder Thomas as being transported from Fairfield to West Bethlehem for burial, but there is not yet a corresponding corroborative record of that in PA. But, given that they retained property in West Bethlehem, it seems probable.

This son Thomas was married twice:

By first wife Ann Crumley, he had ten children: Nancy (Egy), Rachel (Fisher), Jesse, Sarah "Sallie" (McCormick), William, Solomon, Hannah (Drury), James Thomas and Asenath "Cena/Senie/Senah" (Scott). Seven have been located in Findagrave so far; missing are Sallie, William and Asenath (likely somewhere in Monroe or Belmont County, Ohio area). It is probable, but yet unproven, that Ann Crumley died at West Bethlehem Twp., Washington County, PA, where the family lived. The couple's 1781 marriage location also is not yet proven, but likely was at Hopewell Friends at the Berkeley County, WV/Frederick County, VA line area.

By second wife Elizabeth Harlan Moore Ott (or Ott Moore) Rees, he had one child, daughter Kessiah (McClure). His wife Elizabeth was the daughter of George and Mary Harris/Harry Harlan of Little Britain Meeting, Lancaster County, PA. She had been married earlier, in 1804, to Thomas Ott and had four children with him: Sarah (who married Jesse Orr), George Jr., Martha (Wickersham), and Mary (Webb). It is not yet clear who the Moore spouse would have been, or whether Moore or Orr were the same person, or in which order. Various records called her by one name or the other, but Ott and Rees are more documented.
