About Thomas Lafayette Rigdon, (See Notes)
Notes from Debbie Gambrell:
Sarah Anne "Annie" Pearson had an illegitimate child, Emily Elizabeth, with one of her Rigdon first cousins. Emily was never allowed to meet her father, who did try to see her after her birth, according to handwritten family history by Emily's eldest daughter Ada McLain. Based on information shared with me by a Rigdon cousin I match DNA with, we "think" the most likely son to have been Emily's father would have been Thomas. I was told he would have been about 19 when she was conceived and the only one of the boys who wasn't already married. Any further information from anyone would be greatly appreciated.
Thomas Lafayette Rigdon
1865–1958
Birth ABT. 1865 • Mississippi, USA
Death 6 FEBRUARY 1958

Ancestry ThruLine DNA matches DO indicate that the supposition that Thomas was the father of the illegitimate daughter Emily mentioned above is valid.
