About Thomas Riggs
Thomas Riggs was born circa 1755 in Massachusetts to William Riggs and Margaret Mary Grymes. During the American revolution he enlisted March 11, 1777 for a three year contract. He served as a private in Slayton’s Company, 4th Massachusetts Regiment, a sergeant in Captain John Mullins Company in July from the 3rd to 11th in 1777.
