About Thomas Robinson, Junior, of Creragh
In 1722 Thomas Sadleir of Killnelaugh renewed a lease to Thomas Robinson of Curragh for the lands of Curragh and part of Carrick (Registry of Deeds vol. 36 p. 403 no. 23200). As a Robert Bradshaw of Gortnekistrim, Co. Limerick, was a witness, and as Carrick is close to Creragh, it seems likely to be this Thomas rather than his father.
Settled at Curagh, married early to Edith Bradshaw of Co. Limerick, had 10 children, had a small employment in the Revenue - 'The pedigree of the Family of Armstrongs' / compiled by John Armstrong (National Library of Ireland Ms. 5216).
Thomas Stoney's will in 1726 appointed a Thomas Robinson his "brother" (presumably brother-in-law) as joint guardian of Thomas's sons if Thomas's widow Sarah remarried.
Betham's abstracts (GO MS 261) describes him as Thomas Robinson of Creragh and gives the death date of 1731, with marriage to Edith Bradshaw of Limerick. Thomas U. Sadleir's Pedigrees (GO MS 576) specifies the marriage in 1713 to Edith Bradshaw of Bullock Park, Co. Limerick.
Indexes to Irish wills records the will in 1732 of Thomas Robinson of Crerah.
