About Thomas William Sandry
Death reported in "The Inquirer and Commercial News) of Friday 5 February 1897:
"DETERMINED SUICIDE. A CHARCOAL BURNER HANGS HIMSELF. Sydney, February 2. Thomas Sandry, a charcoal burner at Bathurst, hanged him self in a stable this morning. He stood on a manger, tied a bridle round his throat, and made a plunge. No reason is assigned for the act."
Also, published in the "Australian Town and Country Journal" of Saturday 20 July 1889:
"Bankruptcy Court. SEQUESTRATIONS ON PETITIONS OF DEBTORS... No. 1417. Thomas Sandry, of Dunkeld, near Bathurst, charcoal-burner. Mr. E. M. Stephen, official assignee"
