Elizabeth Eddy was previously attached to parents Thomas Savory and Mary (Woodcocke) Savory of Hannington in Wiltshire. There is no evidence of this connection through baptism or other records, and Thomas left a will naming his children with no mention of Elizabeth.

The LNAB 'Savory' is also linked to Severy and Severit. The name is spelled differently depending on the region. Savory is usually found in the New England area.
