Additional evidence is needed to confirm this is the correct Thomas and Martha. Circumstantially--date, occupation, birth location, and lack of records in Lincs make this appear to be correct.

Email from James Snowden Grandad's brother Thomas also left the village to set up in Leicester, some distance away perhaps to avoid competition. We used to visit his house there but I did not realise that he was a butcher also as he was always formally dressed. I never encountered his sons but kept occasional contact with cousin Miriam, a children's nanny, until my father's death.

Thomas SNOWDON (b Elkington Q2 1877) married Martha BEESLEY; Martha was my 2nd cousin 3 times removed. So the Snowdon line going back is of no real interest to me, but Thomas & Martha’s descendants would be. I have included a report on what I have. Perhaps you have information about further siblings and descendants?
