Thomas Sweet (1741-1830), enlisted as a private in the 9th company, Col. John Daggett's 4th regiment, which marched on the Lexington Alarm and, 1778, was sergeant in Capt. Alexander Foster's company, Col. Thomas Carpenter's regiment. He died in Attleboro, Mass.
