Thomas James Walsh March 19,1869-April 5,1940
Thomas James Walsh, 71, a farmer near Henry for 34 years, died at his farm home Friday. Funeral services will be held at St. Theresa's Catholic church at Mitchell at 10 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in the Morrill Cemetery.Born at Elkader, Iowa, March 19, 1869, was married to Bertha Frailey Dec 30, 1905, and moved to a farm north of Scottsbluff. The following year the couple moved to a homestead north of Henry. Mr. Walsh was a long time member of the Catholic Church. Surviving are his wife;three sons, Harold, Joe, and Lyle, one daughter, Mrs Mary Goltry, and four grandchildren, all of Henry; one sister, Mrs Gertrude Mason, of Torrington; and a cousin, Joe King of Mitchell.
