An inventory was taken 28 January, 1748/9, by John FISK and John COOPER. Heis estate was valued at £2268-06-03. Will dated 26 December, 1748.

"I, Thomas Wright of Middletown, do make this my last will and testament: I give to Elizabeth my wife, 1-3 part of all my personal estate and 1-3 part of all my real estate for her improvement during her natural life. I give to my eldest son, Thomas Wright, and to his heirs and assigns forever, the equal half of all my estate, he paying to my daughters the legacies hereafter mentioned. I give my second son, Jonas Wright, and to his heirs and assigns forever, 3-20 of all my estate, he paying to my daughters the legacies hereafter mentioned. I give to my youngest son, Earl Wright, and to his heirs and assigns forever, 7-20 of all my estate, he paying to my daughters the legacies hereafter mentioned. I do hereby give to my three daughters, Elizabeth, Mary and Hepzibah, to each so much of my estate as shall make each of them £200 old tenor with what I have already given them, which legacies shall be paid to them by my three sons in such proportion as I have herein given my estate to them. I further give to my wife a proper mourning suit besides what I have herein given her. And I appoint my two eldest sons, Thomas Wright and Jonas Wright, executors.
