About Thomas Yates, Jr.
Thomas Jr. and Avis were married in 1816. They had nine children. There are several infants buried in this same cemetery that are probably theirs since it appears to be on the same burial plot. The dates of his death are a little different on the Ancestral File than on the headstone. The files says he was born 03/21/1798 and died 12/12/1855, probably just an error in transcribing.
