Timothy Kirschner

Tim had a quite tragic life. He had medical difficulties in his late teens, a stroke when he was 28, and was struck by a car in 1984, leaving him paralyzed in both legs and his right side, and was unable to speak. He was cared for at a 24 hour nursing facility specializing in young brain injured people since a few months after the accident. He received excellent care there, which accounts for the fact he lived as long as he did. Even with such severe disability, he managed to remain alert and involved with his environment and the people in it.
