Tisdale Puffer, Jr. was born at Medway, March 30, 1797 and died on September 14, 1874, aged 77 years. He went with his father to Monson and thence to Readsboro, Vermont. He became a taxpayer in Readsboro in 1822 and continued unntil 1831, according to the tax-lists. He voted first September 2, 1822 at Readsboro and continued until 1831, according to the tax-lists. He voted first September 2, 1822 at Readsboro and was admited freeman in that year as Tisdale, Jr. He quit-claimed his property March 4, 1829 and went west about that time. He settled in Steuben County, New York.
