Grades: Mechanic, Oct. 9, 1917; Private, Nov. 21, 1917; Private 1st Class, Sept. 3, 1918; overseas from May 10, 1918, to March 19, 1919; wounded, severely, Sept. 28, 1918. Engagements: Offensives: Aisne-Marne; St. Mihiel; Meuse-Argonne. De- fensive Sectors: Vesle (Champagne); Toulon and Verdun-Fromereville (Lorraine).
