Unity daughter of Jane Pugh & Randolph Alexander. Unity was named after her paternal grandmother Unity Murphy Alexander.

Married Cyrus Mangum on March 22, 1876 Pahreah, Kane, Utah. They had eight children together, only 5 of their children lived to adulthood.
