About Valentin Schlesinger
Name was written in 1700s Hranice records as "Faltin Selig", which at the time meant "Faltin son of Selig"
It is possible that Valentin was the son of Lazar Schlesinger, who was called "Selig Lazarus" at the time, but I haven't been able to find any definitive evidence of the connection beyond the name overlap.
Somehow Valentin is connected with the "Markus Gerst" who lived in House 12 as of 1892. Based on synagogue records, it seems like Markus may be Valentin's grandfather, but I don't whether it's via Valentin's father or mother. Records about house ownership discusses the relationship a bit, but I can't read it: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QSQ-G9CN-838G. Based on an analysis of the familianten records, I think Markus Gerst may have been formerly known as Gerst Faltin (Gertl son of Faltin), but I'm not positive.
Maybe married in Aug 1791, but the record just refers to "Valentin S." and "Verona", and it's way before the first birth record I found of their children.
