Included in the Will of John Austin (husband of Hannah):

To my son Valentine Austin – whereas I have heretofore given to my son John Austin, what I intended to give him, I give to my son Valentine Austin, 400 acres on Leatherwood Creek in Halifax County. [1]

Research Note

It is believed Valentine had a daughter named Hannah Austin. In 1758 Lunenburg County, VA Court records show Hannah Austin, daughter of Valentine Austin, bound out to Valentine's mother, Hannah Austin. Lunenburg Order Book 5, page 137. At that time, Valentine is alive. [2]
