Valentine Raeder, 71, Dies At His Home In Plymouth Plymouth—Valentine Raeder, aged 71, passed away at his home on Selma Street, here, this morning. Mr. Raeder was born January 2, 1863, in the town of Rhine, the son of Philip and Catherine Raeder. His marriage to Miss Louise Dittmar took place on October 3, forty years ago. Following their marriage the couple lived on a farm at Hull's Crossing, and about ten years ago they moved to Plymouth, where they have resided ever since. Survivors are his wife, the following children, Mrs. Otto Ebenreiter, Plymouth; Fred Raeder, Route 1, Plymouth; John, Plymouth; Milton, Glenbeulah; Herman, Clara and Laura, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Fred Kammarer of Elkhart Lake; Mrs. William Schroeder of Greenbush; two brothers, John Raeder of Sioux Falls, SD; Martin Raeder of Elkhart Lake, and nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at the Wittkopp Funeral Home and at the Evangelical Church at Elkart Lake. The Rev. K Nagel of Elkhart Lake will officiate and interment will be made in the Elkhart Lake cemetery."
