Velma C. Capone

Velma was the youngest child born to Ira Ennis Pheasant and Grace Swimery. Velma was first married to William Verhulst. They were married on August 23,1919 in Des Moines Iowa. They had divorced by 1924. She married second Ralph Capone brother of gangster Al Capone on May 10,1928. They divorced in March of 1938. They had no children. According to Deirdre Marie Capone Ralph's granddaughter and the author of the book Uncle Al Capone she was known in the Capone family as Valma or Val.
