About Vera Frances Patterson
Vera Willison Patterson. 76, of Chambersburg, formerly of died Tuesday, July at Shook Home in Chambersburg. She was born November 12, 1922, in Sycamore, a daughter of Ralph and Margaret Ealy Willison. Mrs. Patterson was a graduate of St. Francis School of Nursing and California University of Pennsylvania. Early in her career, she worked for Magee Women's Hospital and Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh. She returned to as a supervisor at Greene County Memorial Hospital and retired from the state Department of Health, where she was employed as a public health nurse. Mrs. Patterson served as an original member of Greene County Hospice Inc. and was a longtime member of the Advisory Board of Greene County Children and Youth Agency. She was a longtime church member. Surviving are two sons, Dr. E. Britt Patterson of Chambersburg and Grady M. Patterson of Westfield, Mass.; a daughter, Megan Reynolds of Jefferson, Va.; three grandchildren, Clay and Luke Patterson and Mattie Reynolds; and a brother, J. Kenneth Willison
