MEMORIAL PHOTOS 1 FLOWERS 1 ADA — Services for Vera Lee Wright, 84, Ada, are 10 a.m. Monday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. David M. Sutton officiating. Burial follows at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Wright died May 30, 2003, at a local hospital.

She was born Dec. 6, 1918, to B.N. and Ada Heath Hunsucker at Ada. She lived in this area all her life, attending Willard and Horace Mann schools and East Central Normal School. She was a legal secretary for attorney Lawrence Green and a bookkeeper for Frank Dotson and Indian Hills Motel. She attended First Free Will Baptist Church.

She and Jim Wright were married Aug. 16, 1942, at Ada.

Survivors include her husband, Jim Wright Sr., of the home; a son, Jim Wright Jr. and wife, Marylyn, Union Valley; a brother, Austin Hunsucker, Rancho Cugomanga, Calif.; three grandchildren, Jim Wright III, Ada, Kim Godfrey, Texarkana, Ark., and Marc Wright, Byng; and six great-grandchildren.

Bearers are Paul Scott, Don Bowers, Bob Tweedy, Norris Lillard, Don Kerr and J.O. Kirby . Criswell Funeral Home
