Verna Mary Ellenberger, of Broad Avenue extension, died unexpectedly in her home at 3.55 p.m. yesterday, her 80th birthday anniversary.

She was born on May 16, 1886, in Morrisons Cove, daughter of Lloyd and Mary (Walters) Pressel, and married John A. Ellenberger, who died Dec. 3, 1957.

Surviving are two children, Mrs. Hazel Wagner and J. Harold of the city; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was a member of the Fifty-eighth Street Methodist Church,Donelly Bible Class and Quilting Circle.

Friends may call at the Lafferty Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. today, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
