Verna H. Troyer

Verna H. Troyer 79, of Mt. Hope, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022.

She was born on October 5, 1943 to the late Henry and Ella (Beachy) Weaver. On March 27, 1973 she married Mose A. Weaver who preceded her in death on August 27, 2012. She then remarried to Henry P. Troyer on May 3, 2016 and he survives.

Verna was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

In addition to her husband Henry she is survived by her two sons, David J. (Mary) Miller of Fredericksburg, Leroy M. Weaver of the home; brothers and sisters, Jonas (Iva) Weaver of Apple Creek, Jacob (Viola) Weaver of Sugarcreek, Andy (Fannie) Weaver of Fredericksburg, Mary (Christian Demis) Schlabach of Apple Creek, Emery (Elsie) Weaver of Apple Creek; brother-in-law, Raymond (Miriam) Weaver; stepdaughters, Betty (Dan) Shrock of Sugarcreek, Mae (Roy Jr.) Miller of Dundee, Erma Raber of Mt. Hope; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband Mose, she was preceded in death by her sister, Esther Weaver.

Funeral services will be held at the Nelson Beachy residence, 7743 CR 77, Millersburg, on Friday, November 18, at 9:00 AM with Bishop Daniel Shetler officiating. Burial will follow in the Yoder Cemetery. Friends may call at the Nelson Beachy residence after 2 PM on Wednesday and any time on Thursday.
