FIRST Marriage: CONFLICTING DATE & YEAR
Veronica’s Declaration of Intention says that she and John were married 3 May 1911 in Boston MA. However, I have found no marriage records for them on that date.

I have found records of a 26 May 1905 marriage between John Lapukas/Lopukas and Veronica Waronica Czinciz/Veronicka Chiucaci. The marriage took place in Boston MA and was recorded in both Boston & Lewiston ME. The grooms parents names are similar to the parents named in the marriage record of John’s brother Michael (Michael Marriage Record)

In addition, there is an entry in the 1910 Census supporting the possibility that Veronica and John married before 1911: John (28) & Worinka (25) Lapokus, both weavers, of 14 Knox St, Lewiston ME, married 4 years in 1910 (c 1906). (1910 Census)

Going to Lewiston ME to Salune Ruduzia, 217 Paris St, Lewiston ME [n pencil - originally said to Uncle Ambros Grigalunas, Chiamfors Str 4? Lawrence MA], Notation “1x91514-6-17-41”. Traveling with a Josef Cziczis, age 24, same last residence and originally same destination, but then written in pencil going to cousin Charles Kairis 259 3rd St, So Boston (Veronica 1904 Arrival). NOTE: Kairis is consistent with spelling of Veronica’s mother’s name on possible 1st marriage record from Massachusetts. (Veronica 1904 Arrival).
