Vienna Eleanora "Nona" Hall

Nona was Head Cashier at the V.A. Medical Hospital in Jackson, MS, and enjoyed playing bridge. She received a B.A. in English from Millsaps College. Her grand niece Barbara Rockett Boone used to love to stay over at her house on N. West Street. She loved orange sherbet, peach ice cream, mixed fruit juices, and made the best toast on Vienna bread toasted in the bottom of her gas stove! She was a quiet, reserved lady with a twinkle in her eye. She drove a tan Chevrolet (Impala, I think), and my mother says that they used to drive around the block and get a 7-Up for Nona's mom, Vi, whenever she had digestive trouble!!

She is buried at Lakewood Cemetery with her husband, Floyd Latimer.
