Obituary:
Vincent Zakrzewski, 80, 204 West Second Street, died suddenly Monday at 4:25PM at the Owl Hotel. Death was caused by a heart attack. Mr. Zakrzewski was born January 11, 1857 in Poland, and had resided here 52 years. Survivors are one son, John, Winona; two daughters, Mrs. Martha Zmuda and Mrs. Stanley Kropidlowski, Winona; one sister, Mrs. Anton Kulas, Winona and 11 grandchildren. His wife died November 17, 1933.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday at 9AM at the St. Stanislaus Church, the Rev. J.F. Cieminski officiated. Preliminary services were conducted at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Kropidlowski, 964 East King Street, at 8:30AM. Pallbearers were Frank, Joseph and John Zmuda, Frank Kluzik, Emil Langowski and Jacob Gliszczynski. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
