About Vouletti T (Singer) Proctor
She was the daughter of Isaac Merritt Singer, founder of the Singer Sewing Machine Company, and Mary Ann Sponsler. Singer married William Fash Proctor on April 22, 1862 in Derby, CT where Proctor's family resided. They had three children: William Ross, Charles Edward, and Ada Olive. The Ross middle name was to honor his good friend George Ross MacKenzie. This name has now been carried forward several generations.
