Vurga Ann Reeves

She loved to sew and did so very often until the final years. She also had very long hair that she would comb and twist up into a bun and pin on the back of her head. She loved family very dearly and if you come to visit you where gonna eat even if you just did.

I learned much from her she was indeed a fine lady, who treasured even the grand kids (us).

Mrs. Vurga Ann Reeves, 90, Vienna, died Thursday, Dec. 18, 1980 at Phel ps County Hospital, Rolla, following a lengthly illness.

Mrs. Reeves was born April 13, 1890 in Dent County, a daughter of John a nd Ida Cole Baker. She was married June 1, 1908, at Dillard, to John Reeves, who died June 19, 1938. She later married Harrison Reeves, who also preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sons, Claude Reeves and Howard Reeves, both of Vienna; three daughters, Mrs. Reba Reeves, Mrs. Lena Fisher and Mrs. Mildred B arton, all of Vienna; three step-sons and six step-daughters; one brother, Horace Baker, Viburnam; 48 grandchildren and 92 great-grandchildren.

Services were held the following Sunday at the Birmingham-Martin Funer al Home, Vienna, with Bro. Buddy Wilson officiating. Burial was in the Vienna cemetery.
