Walter J. Adamik, 83, of Level Green, died Monday, Nov. 27, 2006, in William Penn Care Center, Penn Township. He was born May 2, 1923, in Trafford, a son of the late Frank and Mary Zajdel Adamik. He was a member of St Regis Church and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Prior to retirement he was an electrical engineer with Westinghouse East Pittsburgh. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Stanley Adamik; and a sister, Jean Kalbrenner. He is survived by his beloved wife, Ann Capan Adamik; three sons, Joseph, Ronald and Donald Adamik; and two daughters, Judy Adamik and Marian Wilcox; and a sister, Helen Tucker; and also four grandchildren. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the DAVID A. RITTER FUNERAL HOME, 220 Edgewood Ave., Trafford. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Regis Church with Father James D. Tringhese as celebrant. Entombment will follow in New St. Joseph Cemetery mausoleum, North Versailles. The family suggests donations be made to St. Regis Church, Trafford, or the Alzheimer's Association.
