About Walter Charles Williams
WALTER CHARLES WILLIAMS, 71, of Clifford, died Saturday, December 26, 2020.
Walter was born December 13, 1949 in Pontiac to Russell and Albertine (Dupuy) Williams. He graduated from Pontiac Northern High School, class of 1968. He married Patricia Ann Shacket on October 27, 1972 at the Richmond 1st Baptist Church. Walter went on to work as a millwright at GM Truck & Bus for more than 35 years – he retired in 2003. He enjoyed being a ham radio operator, a gifted historian, and more recently a drone pilot. Walter was passionately patriot and a passionate believer in the truth. He was a very loving man whose attributes also included: courage, wisdom, and honesty. Walter loved his family and Walter loved the Lord Jesus Christ with all of his heart.
Walter is survived by his children: Shawn (Robert) Smith of North Branch, Stephen (Amy) Williams of Allenton, Dale Williams of Garden City, Timothy Williams of Flint and Suzanne Headla of Flint; andnine grandchildren. Walter was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Ann Williams in 2012; his sister, Judith Williams and his aforementioned parents.
Walter was interred at Burlington Township Cemetery where a private graveside service was held.
