No one around town or in school ever called dad Ward. His nickname to classmates was "Biggen". Dad was very skinny in high school. He was Silvercreeks 100 yard dash man. I did a funeral for (Betty Oliver Jones) one of his classmates last year. Her nickname was "Tractor" (adapted from Oliver tractor company). But whenever they hung around each other he called her Biggen and she called him tractor.
