Warren R Rodwell was born at Inglemere Private Hospital at Homebush in Sydney NSW Australia, and is a direct descendant of DAVID RODWELL (1819 - 1888) son of THOMAS RODWELL (B:1778) a shoemaker; St Edmunds Parish, Salisbury Wiltshire England. Parents of THOMAS RODWELL were SAMUEL RODWELL and Mary Ward. THOMAS RODWELL married Martha Elton.

Their son DAVID RODWELL (1819 - 1888) was transported to Hobart Tasmania (Van Diemen’s Land) Australia , age 18, aboard the ship Lord William Bentinck (2) in 1838. David Rodwell later married ROSINA HAMMOND (B: Chelmsford Essex England 1824 - 1853). She was transported VDL 1844. They followed the goldrush when they moved to Victoria on mainland Australia in 1851. http://warrenrodwell.com

Descendant of the First Fleet - Sydney Cove Australia 1778 The paternal grandmother of Warren's father David Richard Rodwell was ELIZABETH MEREDITH (1889 -1964). She married Samuel Richard Rodwell. Elizabeth Rodwell (nee Meredith) is a direct descendant of First Fleet member FREDERICK MEREDITH who arrived in Sydney NSW Australia on 26th January 1788 aboard the transport ship 'Scarborough'.
