About Warren Yeomans York
Warren Yoeman York was teaching school in Pine Valley, NY when he married Florence M. Aldrich on March 12, 1874.
In 1878 they pioneered to Nebraska, settling on a farm 4 miles west of Lincoln on "O" Street.
In 1884, Mr. and Mrs. York took a homestead in the Otue Reservation near Liberty, Gage County, NB. Here they with Warren's brother Lewis, set up a cheese factory, The Meadow Brook Dairy, in Havelock. They manufactured cheese for over 10 years, supplying the surrounding territories with this product.
