---Wayne Winter of Clarence township, passed away at 11:10 a. m. Saturday at the University hospital in Ann Arbor, where he had been a patient since Friday. He had been at Oaklawn hospital for seven weeks, previously. Wayne was born February 19, 1917 in the Rice Creek district and had spent his entire life in that vicinity. He was the son of Mrs. Lilly Winter and the late Ernest Winter, who passed away on August 5, 1944. Surviving are his mother; one sister, Mrs. Frances Berry of Marengo township; four brothers, Carl Winter of Marshall, Daniel, Lee and Harry, all at home; one niece of Marshall.
---Funeral services will be held from the Court funeral home Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, with the Rev. Warren E. Brown of Brooks Memorial church officiating. Interment will follow in Rice Creek cemetery. Friends who wish may call at the funeral home.

Wayne Winter passed away at the University hospital in Ann Arbor, following a long illness. Funeral was held Tuesday from Court's funeral home in Marshall, and burial was made in Rice Creek cemetery.
