Wealthy Meriwether

Wealthy's unusal name has always intrigued me. My maternal aunt, Alice Wealthy Meriwether Self, carried the name on to another generation. Just recently, while researching Wealthy Scott's family, I discovered the name in a prior generation. Wealthy Scott had an aunt named Wealthy Johnson, daughter of John Johnson and Mary Polly Jamison. How we name our offspring is an interesting study.
