Wentzel who went to Rhodesia was also not the son of David Cornelis COETZER * 14.7.1833 @ Cradock † 17.2.1878 (44) @ Elansdrift, Cradock x Maria Johanna BERNART (Bernard / Barnard)

Presently, and temporarily, I have Wentzel married to Herculina as the grandson of

Although I have not yet found evidence, I worked on the evidence I already have.
The name of the oldest son of Johan Harmse COETZER (Jan Harm Coetzer) and Maria Elizabeth Anna MALAN is Wentzel.
b1c10d7e1. Wentzel Christoffel COETZER * 16.7.1824 @ Cradock x APPARENTLY Johanna Petronella NN (or any of his daughter’s names).
I temporarily put Wentzel married to Herculina as above parent’s son, because their oldest son was also a Wentzel (named after his grandfather).

To proof this, we have to find the Death Notice of Wentzel b1c10d7e1, which we will most probably find in Cradock Stormberg District’ archives.
