MrWenzel Linhart , 32, was the son of Katerina Linhart from Vienna, Austria.
Linhart boarded the Titanic at Southampton as a third class passenger (ticket number 345775, £9 10s). He lost his life in the disaster. His body was recovered by the cable ship MacKay Bennett(#298) and buried at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Halifax, Nova Scotia on 8 May 1912 .
NO. 298. - MALE. - ESTIMATED AGE, 32. HAIR, BROWN, LIGHT MOUSTACHE.
CLOTHING - Grey suit; white shirt with large red and blue stripes.
EFFECTS - Pocketbook; purse; 220 kronor and other bills and coins.
NO MARKS.
THIRD CLASS.
NAME - WENZEL LINHART.
Notes 1. His names are sometime listed reversed i.e. "Linhart Wenzel".
