ROY--Wesley L. Wilson, 74, of 4854 S. 3100 W., died Monday at his home after a lingering illness. Mr. Wilson was born May 19, 1902, in Blackfoot, Idaho, a son of Louis D. and Fannie Morgan Wilson. He was married to Bedelia "Deila" (sic) Miller on May 20, 1931, in Grants Pass, Ore.
He was formerly prospector in California and had lived in Oregon where he worked in the Sawmill business. He moved to Roy 25 years ago and had been employed as a crane operator at the Ogden Iron Works. Surviving are his widow of Roy; three sons, David E. Wilson and Donald H. Wilson, both of Layton; Morgan W. Wilson, Roy; 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, six step grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Larkin Chapel of the Dawn where friends may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday prior to services. Interment in the Hooper Cemetery.
