• Wilbert E. Terfry "Bikie" *1920 - 2010

TERFRY, WILBERT E. - 90, of Parrsboro passed away Saturday, December 04, 

2010 at Bayview Memorial Health Care Centre, Advocate Harbour. Born in 

Apple River, he was a son of the late Arthur and Lila (McWhirter) 

Terfry. He was a veteran of World War II serving overseas with RCEME. 

Following the war, he was employed with CN for more than 30 years. He is 

survived by his wife, the former Madeline Yorke; daughter, Martha Terfry 

(John Fulton), Parrsboro; sister, Annie Dunbar, Rexton, N.B.; brothers, 

Cedric (Mary), Port Greville; Arthur, Jr. (Carolee), Truro; 

grandchildren, Allyson Bowden-Welsh (Kris), Diligent River; Lesley 

Whitford (Jeremy Fulton), Parrsboro; great-granddaughters, Kennedy, 

Kaleigh, Abigail; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a 

sister, Elsie; a brother, Wilfred. Visitation 12-2 p.m. on Monday 

[December 6, 2010] at Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro, where funeral 

service will follow at 2 p.m., Rev. Greg Doyle officiating. Burial in 

the Parrsboro United Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the 

Christmas Daddies or to a charity of choice.
