About Wilhelm Kusserow

Wilhelm Kusserow was a German adherent of the Jehovah's Witnesses who was executed during the Holocaust for refusing to serve in the German army or sign an oath of allegiance to Hitler. When given the opportunity by the court to have his execution order rescinded in exchange for a renunciation of his beliefs, Wilhelm refused. He is one of the most widely-known Witness victims of the Holocaust.
