Wilhelm (brother of David) was also a cellist, and he played at the Vienna State Opera (Hofoper) and the Vienna Philharmonic from 1880 until retirement in 1905. (Stephen De'ak, David Popper, p155)

Date of death of 1905 on numerous websites e.g. familysearch.org is incorrect. De'ak reports Wilhelm to be alive at the time of David's death in 1913 and his memorial in 1914 (pp 250, 304).
