About Willard McLain Jackson
Willard McLain Jackson, 39, of Vidalia, died Thursday night at his home after a lengthy illness. He was the son of Will Jackson and Ida Davis Jackson.
Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Sunday at Hardens Chapel Church. Services were conducted by the Rev. John Carroll, Rev. H.E. Keel and Rev. C.E. Collins Burial was in the church cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Alma Pearl Jackson; two sons, Jesse Ray Jackson and Walter Jackson, all of Vidalia; five daughters, Margaret Pearl, Gloria Nell, Jeanette, Barbara Ann and Sabrina Jackson, all of Vidalia; his mother and stepfather; a brother, Millard Jackson of Vidalia; a half-brother, W.H. Gordy of Scotland and a half-sister, Mrs. Lucille Wiggins of Helena.
