William Baldwin, son of Zorrobbabel Baldwin and Perseus Bemis, was b. in Spencer, Mass. on Apr. 16,1801; m. June 4, 1832, with MARY HOWLAND, dau. of Abner Howland. He lived in Spencer; was a Justice of the Peace, Representative, Selectman, Assessor and Land Surveyor. He inherited the farm of his father and grandfather. He d. Oct. 27,1851; widow living, in 1876, with her son John W., in Springfield, Mass.
