William Wallace Ball

William Wallace Ball, son of Isaac Ball III and Sarah "Sally" Monross, was born 17 July 1831 at Balltown, Venango County, Pennsylvania. He married in August 1850 at Levant, Chautauqua County, New York, Emeline Adelia Wells, daughter of James Wells and Jane (Hapgood) Wells. William died 12 January 1898 at Stow, Chautauqua County, New York, and was buried 15 January 1898.

The children of William Wallace Ball and Emeline Adelia (Wells) Ball were:

i. Wilburn Whitely Ball (1851-1851).

ii. Willard Cecil Ball (1852-1922) who married (1)7 May 1876, Sarah Demang, and (2) Clara L. Truby.

iii. Lewis Marshall Ball (1853-1884) who married (1) 20 October 1875, Adella Slayton, and (2) Hattie Urmson.

iv. Captain William Carver Ball (1855-1930) who married 3 June 1885, Glen Lilla "Lillie" Whitford.

v. Frank Gaylord Ball (1857-1946) who married Margaret Theresa O'Boyle.

vi. Adeline Adelia Ball (1861-1951) who married 1 February 1883, Oscar Smiley.

vii. Ralph Morris Ball (1864-1927) who married 28 December 1893, Ida K. Hammond.

viii. Wallace Edson Ball (1869-1943) who married Ida M. Bohall.

ix. Alton Wells Ball (1872-1942) who married Nora A. Tallman.
